Learn from it. Change it. Make it useful.

This is the standing policy for AHALab’s public materials library, including courses published here in future. Unless a work carries separate terms, our original public course materials are shared under CC BY 4.0. You may copy, translate, adapt and use them commercially, including in paid teaching, while following the license.

Give credit and mark changes

Credit AHALab · 极客工坊, retain supplied copyright, license and disclaimer notices, link to the source and the license where reasonably practicable, and say whether you made changes. Keep prior modification notices. Credit must not suggest that AHALab endorses you or your use.

An attribution example

This is a suggested format, not an extra license condition. Replace the change description with what actually changed; say “unmodified” if appropriate. Acknowledgement can reasonably appear on a course page, in credits or in distributed materials.

Open materials do not mean official affiliation

The license does not authorize claims such as “official AHALab partner”, “AHALab-certified”, co-branded teaching or guaranteed outcomes. AHALab has not reviewed or endorsed another provider’s prices, teaching, products, promises or business conduct. A provider is responsible for its own services.

What the permission covers

It covers AHALab’s original public course text, worksheets, editorial illustrations and original 3D artwork, to the extent AHALab holds rights it can license. Private classroom files and unpublished material are outside this grant. Personal portraits, names, privacy and publicity rights are not granted by the course-content license. Website runtime files explicitly distributed with a software license use the MIT license instead.

What has separate terms

Third-party videos, photographs, research images, games and student submissions retain their own terms. Linking to them is not a license to redistribute them. Natural Earth outlines are public domain. Three.js retains its MIT notice. See the complete scope notice.

The AHALab name and logo are not licensed for third-party branding or endorsement. Existing embedded logos may remain when reproducing course materials to identify their source. Text credit is enough; you need not use our logo. No trademark rights are granted.

A lasting permission

CC BY 4.0 is irrevocable for users who comply. We do not require payment, prior approval or publication of an adapter’s source files. Do not add terms or effective technological measures that restrict the CC-licensed rights of downstream recipients. The license does not restrict ideas, facts, public-domain material or uses already permitted by law.

AI-assisted artwork is covered only where relevant rights exist and can be licensed; we claim no rights created merely by this notice. Materials are provided as-is under the standard license and applicable law, without a promise of teaching, engineering, safety or commercial results. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
